Among these duchies, there are four particularly important ones, which both England and France have sought to win over. The Duchy of Orléans pledged its loyalty to France long ago, as did the Duchy of Burgundy. The Duchy of Normandy firmly supports England, while the Duchy of Brittany has, for now, maintained a position of neutrality. And it's within one of these castles in Brittany that our story unfolds today.
